The first thing you MUST do is turn off your Wave Radio and disconnect all power cords from the electrical outlet. Before proceeding, confirm the unit is off and all power has been removed.
Next, take a straightened paperclip or a similar rigid tool that is 2-3 inches long. Near the Wave Radio’s CD player opening, locate a small slot or small hole. This is the manual ejection button. Now carefully insert the paperclip into the hole or slot. As you push it in, you should start to feel some resistance. Continue pushing gently until you encounter the mechanism that releases the CD tray. Continue to apply pressure until the CD tray opens.
Once the CD tray opens slightly, carefully remove the CD as not to damage the CD tray or the CD. After you have removed the CD, close the CD tray by gently pushing the CD tray back into its original position. Now, plug the system back in and test to see if it’s working properly.
