Many people are upgrading their older Bose Lifestyle Home Theater systems to the new Lifestyle 600, 650, and BIV systems to take advantage of some of the new great features such as Soundtouch streaming music and 4K video capabilities. There are 3 important things everyone should know regarding installing the new system. First, the 5 speaker wires that are currently connected to the bass speaker will need to be relocated to the rear of the new system console. The home theater amplifier is no longer located in the bass speaker but is now in the console. You can remove the existing data cable that is connected to the bass speaker; it is not needed for the new bass speaker. Second, if you are upgrading to the new Lifestyle 650 system, you will need to add 2 additional center speaker wires. The LS-650 center speaker needs 3 speaker wires. Third, if you are upgrading to a LS-600 your existing wall/ceiling brackets will work. If you are upgrading to a LS-650 system new brackets are needed. Note, there are different LS-650 Omni Jewel speaker brackets, ceiling, wall, and center speaker. Please visit our website @ www.wbsouth.com/upgrade
