Outdoor Video accessories and other considerations

When mounting your new outdoor TV, only use weatherproof brackets. Sunbrite, the leading manufacturer of outdoor TV’s, offers mounts that are primed with a dependable powder coating, as well as two layers of a durable, corrosion-resistant coating for added protection against scratches. Sunbrite brackets are made of stainless steel hardware, which means you’ll never have to worry about rust for safe outdoor mounting designed to last years. Additionally, you should add a duct cover for your TV. A weatherproof dust cover will help protect your new outdoor TV and keep it clean and looking new. Another major consideration for outdoor video is the location of your components such as cable/sat boxes and DVD players. These devices need to be placed in weatherproof space and can remain inside. Whether in a weatherproof container or remaining indoors, controlling your components needs to be addressed. Most remote are IR and their signals do not pass through walls. This issue can easily be resolved with the addition of an IR repeater kit.
